Chapter Nine: And now..
 Running an establishment like Northallerton EC is physically and mentally hard work so in 2007 after a change of personal Ian decided to go back to his first love of Teaching. He has quickly built up a regular client base with his clients successfully competing in all disciplines at all levels. He is also looking forward to getting back to more serious competing again too. Ian` 6 yr old Broomfield Rex – with whom he hopes to compete in dressage at PSG level has gone from winning a Novice class to winning a Advanced Medium in just 10 tests.
Vicki is no longer running shows and is now also building up her teaching cliental.
Ian was honoured when in 2008 Paul Hayler asked him to be best man at his and Gill` wedding. Amongst the guests were some of British Dressage`s Biggset names but although nervous and a little in awe of the company Ian managed to delivered a truly brilliant best mans speech.
 The twins, Holly and Chloe, continue to ride and hone their equine skills also.
